Worship Service Changes 

Our Strategic Planning Committee has helped us develop several new ministry strategies which evolve out of our ORUMC Mission and Vision Statements.  One of those strategies is to develop three unique and different worship services on Sunday morning.  The sub-committee working on this particular strategy has helped us greatly in discerning our path.  Beginning Sunday, September 14th (as we move into the Fall season, and the first Sunday after our Homecoming), Holy Communion will be served every Sunday during our 8:30 am worship service.  Since this is our Traditional service, serving communion at each service is congruent with our Christian and Wesleyan heritage/tradition.  We will also omit the Children’s Moments at the 8:30 service.  Children’s Moments will continue to be offered during our 11am worship service.  We hope that this will meet the spiritual needs of our community and congregation.

Our 9:45am Crosswalk worship service will continue to be our Contemporary worship service and our 11am worship service will eventually become more of a Blended worship service.  Our worship staff and worship committee welcome your feedback and input as we attempt to offer three unique and special services of worship.
