Prison Ministry:  KAiros

This year, Kairos will be held from August 6-9 at Central Prison (CP).  Kairos is a 4-day outreach mission in Central Prison.  Forty-two residents of various faiths, men who likely will never be released, will attend.  We listen to them, love them, share our story, sing ourselves hoarse, and provide great food.  Lives are changed.  If you did not sign up to be on the prayer chain we string around the gym at CP, and would like to do that, please contact me at 643-9123, or at dannelson@bellsouth.net.  Each man on the team must provide 100 dozen, 2.5", round, handmade, sugar or chocolate chip cookies.  If you are willing to bake cookies for me to take to CP, you need to get them to me by the end of day on August 5th.  If you would like to give a tax-deductible contribution, make a check out to “Kairos of NC” and send it to me.  I'm really excited to see the Holy Spirit at work.  Thank you for all your support and please continue to pray!!
